West Sussex Residents’ e-Panel

Closes 31 Oct 2025

Opened 27 Oct 2015

What it is, what is involved and how we use the information.

The West Sussex Residents’ e-Panel is a community of people who have volunteered to be consulted regularly about important local issues.  Anyone who lives in West Sussex can become a member of the Residents' e-Panel. Once you have registered we will send you links to surveys, reports and outcomes and occasionally links to other public surveys.

It provides a way of listening to different types of people from all over West Sussex. Our aim is to put our residents at the heart of everything we do, and by listening to your views we are able to inform decision making and therefore the development of County Council services.

Your personal details will remain strictly confidential in accordance with the Data Protection Act (1998). It will not be accessible to third parties and only accessible to the Consultation & Engagement Team. We will not add your name to reports.

The Residents’ e-Panel is run online, so all contact will be made from the Consultation and Engagement Team via our Have Your Say email account. You will receive emails about consultations and surveys as they become available; you can expect to receive approximately 2 surveys a month. However, you are not required to take part in all surveys and can select the subjects you have an interest in and want to give your views on.

The e-Panel is managed and maintained by the Engagement and Consultation Team at West Sussex County Council. Any information you provide is held on a secure database and is treated as strictly confidential in accordance with the Data Protection Act (1998).
