What do you need from a SEND Information Advice and Support Service?

Closed 13 Jan 2019

Opened 7 Nov 2018

If you have not already heard about the Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities Information, Advice and Support Service (SENDIAS) service, or have not used the service, you may want to look at our Local Offer homepage to find out more, before you carry on with the survey.

In 2015 there was a review of the SENDIAS service, which was your opportunity to tell this service what you thought.  We received some really helpful feedback and this informed our plans for the service over the last 3 years.

Why we are consulting

We now want to:

  • Check what we have done since receiving your feedback is what you needed
  • Ask further questions to inform our next two year Service Plan
  • Find out if there is anything else you would like us to consider…

We must ask you to take affirmative action to confirm that you are happy for us to hold your data and send you our SENDIAS Annual Report and other emails we feel may be of interest to you.

Accessibility Statement

We are committed making its website accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.   West Sussex County Council has created an Accessibility Statement, and details about the general accessibility of the Have Your Say Consultation Hub can be found by clicking on the 'Accessibility tab'  right at the bottom of the page.

If you require any of this information in an alternative format, please contact us on 0330 222 8555 or via email at send.ias@westsussex.gov.uk and we will do our best to assist you.  If you are deaf or hard of hearing and have an NGT texting app installed on your computer, laptop or smartphone you can contact us on 18001 0330 222 8555.
