Closed 5 Nov 2017

Opened 1 Sep 2017

Results Updated 19 Mar 2018

We asked West Sussex residents to give us their views on the draft Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) and we received a total of 118 responses. These were analysed and included in the PNA consultation report. Changes were also made to the PNA, where required. The PNA has now been published and the documents can be found at www.westsussex.gov.uk/pna.

The purpose of this consultation is to seek views on the West Sussex draft Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA). The PNA is a statement of needs for pharmaceutical service provision within West Sussex and is produced by the West Sussex Health and Wellbeing Board. It assesses the current and future need for pharmaceutical services and identifies any potential gaps to service delivery.

The PNA is used by NHS England for market entry decisions and changes to existing services. It is also used by NHS England, Local Authorities (LA) and Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG) to inform their commissioning of services from pharmacies.
