West Sussex Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment - Dispensing Doctor Survey

The West Sussex Health and Wellbeing Board (HWB), is responsible for the production of the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) for West Sussex. The PNA looks at the current and future pharmaceutical service needs in West Sussex and identifies any potential gaps to service delivery. It is a key document which is used by NHS England to inform its decisions on applications for new or changes to existing pharmaceutical services. It is also used to make commissioning decisions on new services to be provided by community pharmacies.

West Sussex County Council is conducting this survey to capture information about pharmaceutical services in West Sussex. Pharmaceutical services provided by dispensing doctors include the dispensing of prescriptions and giving advice about medicines and appliances. As a dispensing doctor, we value your input on how these services are accessed and whether they meet the current and future needs of the local population. This information will be used to inform the PNA. It will help us identify any potential gaps to service delivery and help us plan for the future.

All data collected will be processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998, and no personal identifiable information will be used in the report.

Please complete this online survey by Monday 27 March 2017. It should take less than 10 minutes to complete.
