Ageing Well in West Sussex

Closed 31 Oct 2019

Opened 1 Oct 2019

Overview

We all age differently and as individuals we may face different challenges, depending on our health, finances, home, family and friends.

West Sussex County Council wants West Sussex to be a great place to grow older – a place where growing old is celebrated and where everyone, irrespective of age, is able to make a contribution to the local community.

Why We Are Consulting

The Council’s Age Well campaign is promoting healthy ageing in West Sussex, and will enable people to improve their wellbeing, remain independent and lead lives with meaning and purpose. This survey includes questions on what West Sussex is like as a place to grow old, and asks what people currently do or might want to do to keep healthy and happy.

This survey will take around 5 minutes to complete.

Your survey responses will help shape the key messages promoted through our Age Well campaign and will inform future work to support people to age well and remain living independently across West Sussex.

Prize draw - To thank you for your time we are running a free prize draw offering free sessions at local leisure centres.  These can be used to take part in a favourite activity or to try something new at a leisure centre in your area!

Throughout the next few months we’ll also be running an e-newsletter packed with lots of useful information, advice and tips on ageing well in West Sussex. To subscribe please see details at the end of the survey.
