Community Garden at Bognor Regis Library Community Feedback

Closed 30 Nov 2017

Opened 13 Nov 2017

Bognor Regis Library has a lovely garden that we would like the local community to have the opportunity to use more widely. We currently have picnic tables, and some giant games which were used for the first time this summer. We have held events in the garden in past years which have proved to be popular. We are working with the Aldingbourne Trust to explore how we can make the most of the garden as a community resource, secure funding for the project, and engage the interest of the local residents.

Why We Are Consulting

While this is not a formal consultation, we would like your feedback on our plans . We will use the information we receive in making bids for funding for the project, and for forward planning on how the garden can benefit a community with diverse needs and interests. At a later stage of the project, we will be looking for volunteers to help both at the initial stages of the project, and to carry it forward in the future. We will not be asking anyone at the moment to commit their time, but we would like to know who would be interested in finding out what volunteering opportunities there may be.

Please complete our feedback form, available online here, or paper copies will be available at Bognor Regis Library between 13th – 30th November 2017.

If you need this information in an alternative format, please contact Pam O’brien or Chris Broggi on (01243) 382470 or e-mail
