West Sussex Care Guide Review

Closes 25 Sep 2019

Opened 21 Aug 2019

Overview

We are currently undertaking a review of the annual West Sussex Care Guide. This is to ensure that we provide residents and our stakeholders with high quality information that reflects our vision that adults in West Sussex who have care and support needs live healthy and independent lives for as long as possible.

The Care Guide provides comprehensive information about support services in the county, to help people make informed choices about their care.

It includes listings of domiciliary care (care at home) services, information on day care and community care services, extra-care housing schemes and support for carers. It also includes listings of care homes in West Sussex.

The guide is available on the County Council’s website and paper copies are available in a wide range of social care, NHS and community locations. Click here to see the current edition.

If you would like a copy of the  survey in an alternative format, please contact James Ironside on 033022 22534 or via email at james.ironside@westsussex.gov.uk. If you are Deaf or hard of hearing and have the NGT app installed on your laptop, PC or smartphone, you can contact James on 18001 03302 222534.

Why We Are Consulting

We want to ensure that the Care Guide provides people with useful, easily accessible information and advice. To help us do this we would welcome the views of local residents, providers and our key stakeholders on the current format and content.

The survey should take around 10-15 minutes to complete.
