Geek Week is happening 26th to 29th May 2020. You can join us 'live' during the week or watch recorded activities whenever you like.

You said your favourite theme was Harry Potter, so we will be adding some wizarding themed videos through out the week!

You said crafts were your favourite activity, so we have put together some craft videos for you to try at home.

Results Updated 26 May 2020

Thank you to everyone who sent us their amazing ideas and feedback for Geek Week. The Short Breaks team and providers have considerd all your feedback and where possible have included your ideas in our plans for the week's events. The most popular name suggestion was 'Geek Week' , so we have gone with this name. A few people felt that some people might not feel included by the word 'geek', to address this we have included a short description of the week to explain the theme which is 'a celebration of hobbies, interests, fandom and fun'.

The Short Breaks team and West Sussex Short Breaks providers are planning to hold an online event soon for children and young people.

Our idea is to have a online Geek Week. Geek Week is a fun week where you can do great activities like Sci Fi quiz nights, Cos Play competitions , fantasy, anime, gaming and more.  It is all about celebrating your interests and hobbies and sharing them with others.

Why We Are Consulting

We would like to know what activities are best for you, and all the other children and young people who might like to join us online for Geek Week.

We will not ask for any personal information in this survey, and all your answers are anonymous.

Parent carers can fill out this survey on behalf of their child/young person.

If you need any help filling out this survey, or need it in an alternative format, please contact rachel.sadler@westsussex.gov.uk 07734000401
