Curriculum for Life - First Aid - Young people survey

Closed 19 Oct 2018

Opened 1 Aug 2018

On average there are 140,000 deaths nationally per year due to people not having enough first aid knowledge to intervene. The West Sussex Youth Cabinet believe that First Aid training is really important and are on a mission to lower this statistic by improving the level of first aid training in schools. We would really appreciate it if you would give us your opinions on this matter in this survey.

We will not ask for your name.

This means that no one will know what answers you give to the questions. Instead we will group all the answers together to give an overall picture of how young people in your area of the county feel about First Aid in Schools. Thank you for your help in answering this survey.

What Happens Next

As a result of this survey, we will work to ensure that First Aid becomes an important part of PSHE lessons in schools. The survey will give us a greater understanding of where improvements need to be made and allow us to ensure that every student leaves school able to perform first aid with confidence.
