Childcare for Children With a Special Educational Need or Disability

Closed 30 Sep 2018

Opened 12 Sep 2018

As highlighted in our 2017 Childcare Sufficiency Assessment , there is a need to undertake further analysis of the supply and demand of childcare places for children aged 0 -18  with special educational needs or a disability (SEND) across the county.

The aim of this is to continue to improve access to childcare for children with SEND, and to ensure that childcare providers have the knowledge and skills to support these families.

To help achieve this, we are asking parents and carers of children with SEND to complete a short 10 minute survey about childcare and their experiences. If you have more than one child aged 0-18 with SEND, please could you fill in a copy of the survey for each child.
