Why We Are Consulting

The Local Offer is co-produced and a parent carer from the West Sussex Parent Carer Forum sits on the Local Offer Steering Group. The operations lead to the Local Offer and parent carer on the steering group met with FutureGov (web provider) to discuss next steps to developing our West Sussex Local Offer.

The developments are based on feedback and user testing of the Local Offer.

Any comments, concerns or further feedback should be sent to localoffer@westsussex.gov.uk or use the ‘feedback’ button on the side of the Local Offer.

Aims and targets

We want to share how we are considering responding to feedback;

  • We want to ensure the way we are responding to feedback is effective;
  • We want to ensure we involve a range of views in making changes to the Local Offer;
  • We want to improve the functions of the website but also manage expecations of what we are able to do based on the available resources we have.

We believe because the Local Offer has been co-produced with parent carers from the begining it is more helpful to parents.

We have used this survey and polls on Facebook to be able to get initial reactions of the developments.

We hope to follow this survey up with further updates and an invitation for a face to face workshop.
